Family Rides
The Family Rides list for 2008 can be found
here.

- There are planned family rides throughout the summer, the primary motivation of which is to encourage the children who are in the (Chester) group to participate in group rides, with a hope that we may reach other families within the DA (children & grandchildren)
- All are welcome to join in, with the idea that everyone is part of a family, and other experienced cyclists can offer valuable advice to the small people in our midst
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by parent/guardian/suitable adult, on bikes of roadworthy condition. Rules of the road and the Highway Code will be followed, and information on group riding is available from CTC
- The rides will start at varying locations around Chester, which will facilitate different routes but also avoid a large group negotiating their way through town
- Rides will be at a very slow pace (that of the slowest rider), and of about 20 miles. The plan would be to incorporate points of interest - mostly play parks
- As it will be an extremely leisurely pace riders will need to dress appropriately for the weather, bearing in mind you may not get 'warmed up' on the ride
