Ynys Môn - ANGLESEY CTC: Anglesey Group rides take place on the first and third Sunday of the month starting at 9:30am providing the weather is reasonable and there is no clash with events organised by the District Association. Rides start at the parking ground which is located near the Post Office in Llanfairpwll. We decide where to go on the day.
CHESTER CTC: Sunday rides first and third Sunday of each month; Evening Leisure Rides from Chester Town Hall every Wednesday, at 19:00, commencing the first Wednesday in April, through to the end of August when we have a social gathering; Ladies rides second Saturday morning each month, from Kingsway Café meeting at 9:30. The pace of our rides is 'moderate and civilised', although there is sometimes a 'faster further' group.
COLWYN AREA GROUP: The Colwyn Bay group meets every Wednesday morning at 11:00am under the Colwyn Bay Pier. Its aim is to encourage newcomers to the pastime. The pace is just sufficient to keep the bikes upright, and Pantri Bach cafe, Pensarn, is the target for lunch. If you would like to join this group just turn up at Colwyn pier on a Wednesday at 11:00am. Sunday rides take place on a regular basis, often starting from the Black Cat roundabout, Llandudno Junction. Further information can be found here.
ERYRI CYCLING GROUP: All runs start at 10:00am. Please ring the leader before the date to make sure of no last minute changes. The section arrange weekend and mid week rides, with some weekends away. These are colour coded accordingly: Weekend Rides, New Midweek Rides and Social Meet. All riders must make sure that their bikes are roadworthy and carry a basic tool kit, spare food, a drink plus waterproofs. Also note it is essential to have working lights from 1st October until 31st March.
SUMMER EVENING RIDES: Meet at Chester Town Hall at 7:00, or at Hadlow Road Station, Willaston between April and September, short rides of between 20-30 miles, depending on group and length of daylight. Please see website for more informtaion & contact details.
WATSON'S WANDERERS meet at the Plough Crossroads, Christleton on Tuesday mornings at 10:00am. Long distances with moderate to fast pace, lights essential all year round! Lunch is at a different pub every week.
WEDNESDAY RIDERS meet at Eureka cafe, Two Mills (Ledsham) every Wednesday at 10:00am. All ages and abilities welcome, pace moderate to slow.
FOR ALL RIDES: Riders participate at their own risk and by riding with the group, they agree to follow guidance or rules as may be applicable. They also agree to follow instructions given by the leader whenever given in the interests of safety. All Riders must be CTC members and are responsible for riding in a safe manner, in accordance with road traffic regulations. Their bicycle must be fully road worthy and must be fitted with lights when ridden after dark. The ride will finish when the leader departs for home. Should no leader be present at the start the ride is considered not to have begun.
